OUR FRAMES / SIZE / PRICE
What are your frames like? Why are your frames so special? Our personalized frames are vivid, colorful designs with a glossy, laminate finish. While there are many sellers of plain wooden frames with engraved words, their frames mostly look the same. Our frames begin with hand illustrated designs, which are cleverly created to match the occasion, the occupation, the sport, etc. We've done the design for you! All you need to do, is come up with personalization. Our frames are very big-made of a rich, thick maple wood, with a black leather texture easel back. They look good up-close, from the side and back, and the finish lasts for years. Frame It! frames come with a hook on the back, so you can hang your frame on the wall, like a mini work of art! Each frame also comes with a personalized gift card and is packaged in a white gift box. They're also made in the USA! That's just for starters.
How large are your frames? Are they only horizontal? Each
frame is 10" wide x 8" high (outer measurements). Our frames are 3/4" thick with a 2" border, that frames a 4 x 6 picture window. We only offer horizontal stock frames. Our designs offer so much detail and personalization, that a wider
imprint area is needed at the bottom. Also, our frames are not suited
for portraits ( 5x7 or 8x10 photos), which account for most vertical
frames. We only design vertical frames as custom orders.
How much are your frames and what does the price include? Our standard frames are $27.95. If you want to create your own design from scratch or by mixing existing frame designs, there are two options: "Build A Frame" at $29.95 or Custom Mix/Match frames at $34.95. All frame prices include personalization, a personalized gift card and a white
gift box with logo. Our gift boxes are resealable and wrapable. Each order is shipped in an outer carton which protects the gift boxes inside. Customers love our packaging!
Do you make frames with logos? Yes,
this is done as a custom frame, which we do for many clubs,
organizations and corporations. Please see our custom frame category
to submit an inquiry form.
Are there any quantity discounts for teams, clubs or corporate events? Yes, the amount of discount is based on the number of full pirce frames ordered with the same design and personalization (no sale merchandise). For this discounted price, we do allow customers to change a name/title (only) on each frame. We offer quantity discounts for 12-74 frames and an additional discount for 75+ frames. If you order 12 or more frames with the exact same design/personalization, you can do so through regular checkout. The discount is automatically applied. However, if you want to change a name/title on each of the same frames, you will need to place your order with a frame counselor. Please see the about our frames page for our pricing chart.
COLORS / PERSONALIZATION/ SPECIALS
Will my finished frame look as colorful as the website? Actually, they're more colorful and they have a glossy sheen. The most vivid color inks and the brightest white films are used to make our frames. It's hard to show the laminate finish of our frames on the website, without uploading large, high resolution pictures. We know not everyone has a high speed internet connection. (See about our frames where you can view a flash presentation with some close-up, high resolution product photos.)
What can be personalized on your frames? On most designs, the 6 key areas circled on the templates above; the header, the bottom and the left and right sides. Generally, where you see words on a design. You can personalize so much more than just a name on our frames. That's one reason why customers love our products.
Do you have specials, coupons or discounts? Yes! Each month, we place several popular designs on sale, including one of the new designs. We include bouncebacks in our boxes and offer ways for you to earn discounts for referring friends and completing surveys. See our monthly specials page.
Can I design my own frame without personalizing an existing design? Yes! You can build your own frame by choosing a background, fonts and certain artwork. We call that "Build A Frame". You can also create a Mix and Match frame or a custom frame with your own logo. Please see one of these pages: "Build A Frame" , custom frames.
What about switching out fonts or art on existing designs? We don't change fonts or art on existing designs because they're really suited to each design. Some designs offer additional art choices (like male/female options on certain sports frames). If you want to "Mix and Match" art and fonts from other frame designs, see that option at our custom frames page.
Can you personalize frames in Spanish? Yes, but we don't offer any Spanish examples on the website, other than our Quince frame. If you submit Spanish personalization at checkout, we will print it as is. However, if we need to clarify your request, we need to communicate with you (or someone else) by e-mail, in English.
PACKAGING / GIFT CARDS / SHIPPING

Just a reminder that holiday orders placed from November 28-December 17th will arrive by December 24th via USPS Priority Mail. Any order placed December 18 or later, will not ship until January 14th. Frame It! is closed from December 24-January 13, 2011. Again, please make sure your order is placed by December 17th, to ensure arrival for Christmas. If you require a rush order by FedEx, please call in advance to obtain shipping costs and availability. Any questions call customer service at (214) 324-9399.

How are your frames packaged? As you can see from the photo above, each frame comes carefully packaged with bubble wrap, inside of a white gift box. The gift box folds open and can be resealed. Each frame comes with a paper insert behind the glass and a care/instruction card. Every order comes with a bounceback card inside. Our packaging is very classy.
How long does it take to get my order? Can you do rush orders? Stock orders ship within 10 business days by USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground. These ship methods take 3-7 business days. Most orders arrive 2 weeks after being placed. At checkout, we offer an option where you can specify an "in-hand" date. If possible, through order prioritizing, we may be able to meet the "in-hand" date without having to rush orders. However, if needed, we can accommodate rush orders. These orders are handled manually and have higher shipping rates. Please see shipping and order terms for more information.
What is a gift card behind the glass? Do I have to personalize a gift card? It's another little extra that sets us apart! It's a paper gift card placed behind the glass, that you can personalize. Gift cards let the recipient know how much you care! You don't have to include a personalized gift card, especially if the frame is for you. If you don't need one, we use a Frame It! paper insert instead (see the photos above).
How much is shipping and handling? Where do you ship frames? We have flat rate shipping that does not exceed $9.95 (except for APO/FPOs). Our shipping rate table is very simple. We do not charge anything for handling. All of our packaging materials are included in the cost of a frame. We ship anywhere in the USA, including Alaska, Hawaii, & Puerto Rico and to American APO and FPOs. At this time, we do not ship our stock frames internationally. Instead, international orders are handled as custom orders. Please see our shipping and order terms page for all shipping rates and terms.
Do you have a return policy? Because our products are handcrafted to order, we don't do traditional returns. Instead, we offer a 30-day "re-creation" policy. If we make a mistake or if there's any issue of quality or workmanship, we will re-do your order and ship the replacement to you, at our expense. Are you a real company or just an e-commerce store? We're a real company. Frame It! is a product line of DanLiz Enterprises, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. We've been in business since 1997. We design, manufacture and sell our products directly. We are not a reseller. Also, our products are made in the USA. Please see our contact us page for any additional information.
Is your website secure? Yes. This website is powered by Network Solutions, one of the largest and most reputable web hosting companies in the US. Our shopping cart is powered by Shopping Cart Gurus on a secure server with SSL technology. We process all of our payments directly through Pay Pal and we're an authorized Web Site Pro processor. Always look for the https at the top of your web browser at checkout or when you're entering payment information. This ensures you are on the secure server.
Do you have a customer service department? Yes. We don't offer that crummy level of customer "dis-service" that many companies offer today. Calls and e-mails have responses in 24 hours (48-only if we're in a peak season). We offer a free personal shopper service to help customers with gift ideas. If there's ever a problem with an order, you're able to speak to an actual person who will solve the problem, and make you feel special. Without you, the customer, we don't have a business and we treat you accordingly.
What payment methods do you except? We accept all forms of payment processed by Pay Pal: Your Pay Pal account, Pay Pal bank debit, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. If you place your order by phone or fax, the same payment methods apply. If you place your order by mail, we can accept a money order, but we do not accept personal checks or travelers checks.
I don't like ordering on the Internet, is there another way to order your frames? Yes. You can place an order by phone, fax or mail. However, you will need to download, print and use our order form. Please see the our shipping and order terms page to obtain this form. It will download as a PDF, which will require Adobe Acrobat to open. We can also mail you an order form, just submit a request.
Are your products sold in retail stores? Our stock frames are not sold in large retail stores. Most large retailers don't want to mess with handling personalized orders. You may see a few of our frames in a handful of upscale, regional boutiques (Texas), and some custom designs may be sold to travel gift stores. You won't see these designs on our website.
